BLINKER THE STAR

AUTHORS — COMPOSERS — PERFORMERS

Emerging from the woolly Montreal indie rock scene in 1994, Blinker the Star released two albums on A&M Records and toured steadily for 3 years.  Zadorozny relocated from Montreal to Los Angeles to work with Courtney Love, helping craft songs for Hole's "Celebrity Skin" album.  Signing with Dreamworks in 1999, the band recorded and released "August Everywhere" to warm critical reception touring with Our Lady Peace, Sloan, Failure and the Flaming Lips.

Returning to his native Pembroke, Ontario in 2002, Jordon built his recording studio and began working as a producer, working with numerous artists; among others  producing and drumming on Sam Robert's  breakthrough  "The Inhuman Condition" and recording projects with Melissa Auf Der Maur, Chris Cornell, Linsdsey Buckingham.

Blinker the Star, alternatively a solo studio unit and a duo, released several projects "Still In Rome" in 2012,  and  "We Draw Lines" LP, followed by "Songs From Laniakea Beach". A stand alone single, "Future Fires" arrived shortly after and a 5 song EP "11235" appeared in the fall of 2015, followed by "8 Of Hearts" in 2017.

The band returns in 2019 with its sound signature : an original combination of hard guitar pounding riffs mixed with softer, melancholy based tracks and a new album slated for release in 2020.
